DJ Sarah B was born into a family of DJs & musicians-following in her parents footsteps-who were DJs in the 70’s & 80’s, where as a baby she slept under the speakers in her bassinet, listening to all of the current 7” records that her parents played.

During her youth, Sarah attended music school learning to play the Flute & Saxophone, spending her lunchtimes playing the latest chart hits on the piano. She then followed her love of popular music in her late teens and started collecting vinyl records.

Buying her first belt drive Denon turntables, she crafted and fine tuned her natural ability to mix and blend the current club hits. Sarah then upgraded to Pioneer Mk 2 turntables, where she perfected her technique.

Creating mixtapes on cassette was how it was done back then and she approached nightclubs around Essex in the late 90s with her mixtape after stating that she could give the male DJ’s a run for their money! Sarah was one of the few female DJs of that genre, breaking through in the UK Garage scene and mixing vinyl live on the radio during the early 2000’s.

Sidestepping into the rise of the commercial RnB genre in the mid 2000s, Sarah flew to spin tunes in popular holiday resorts in Greece and Majorca, whilst continuing her residency’s in some of the largest nightclubs across Essex and London which were full to capacity every weekend.

Sarah was also flown out to play in Las Vegas and Miami for big VIP party nights in 2005 playing alongside big Stateside stars. Nowadays, she plays large corporate gigs and private parties in London, Essex and Hertfordshire keeping the party going into the early hours. Sarah has a real passion of everything musical and always has tunes on wherever she goes. It's good for the soul and the mood - music over TV every time!

With so many years of experience and vast multi genre musical knowledge, Sarah prides herself on her skills in reading the crowd. She's able to take them on a musical journey, selecting classic tunes and mixing up the feel good anthems to keep the dancefloor full. For her, there is no better feeling of seeing everyone having a great time!

Sarah had the privilege of playing to the best dressed and elite crowd at Henley Festival from 2019-2022 and is absolutely honoured to be returning to Henley Festival this year, playing back at the Big Top.
