One of the great things about the Saxophone is its’ versatile sound. We offer a service that can really give you the best of both worlds. Lively, upbeat tunes with the smooth overlay of a sax. If this is something that you like the sound of, then book us in for your event today! To help you create your dream combo, we have compiled some useful questions that you can ask your DJ before making the decision to hire.
1. Do you have recommendations?
This is one of the most important things to ask a prospective mobile disco. Ideally, they will have a website with recommendations from previous clients which you can reference. Knowing that other people have had a positive experience will put your mind at rest.

2. Is your equipment PAT tested?
Most reputable mobile discos will have their equipment PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) tested. Most venues require this if DJs are bringing their own equipment into the venue to safeguard their electrics.

3. Are you insured?

Again, most hotels and pubs will require that the DJ has Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and require a copy of the insurance document.

4. Can I see you in action?
Most DJs will be more than happy to allow you to watch them perform. Reputable DJs are likely to have regular gigs and welcome people watching them. If this isn't an option, for example if you live far away from where you are getting married, it is worth checking out their Facebook or Instagram page if they have one. Often mobile discos will take videos of their latest gigs and set ups and upload the content to their social media pages. It is a great way to see the style of music and the set up if you cannot see the disco first-hand.

5. Do you work with a live musicians?
Most DJs are used to working with other musicians and bands, especially in a wedding context. They also may be able to share equipment - for example, the musician or band may be able to use the DJ's speakers. This will limit the amount of equipment clogging up a room - especially when people are dancing!

By asking these few questions you can ensure that you have hired a professional who you can rely on.
